Group 1 Software Executive Tapped as New President to Head up the IFX Forum

Alexandria, Va

Alexandria, Va., April 29, 2003 - The Interactive Financial eXchange (IFX) Forum named Richard P. Urban, Vice President of Development for Group 1 Software, as its new president, and elected its 2003 Board of Directors at last week's IFX Forum Annual Meeting.

As an active participant in the IFX Forum since July 1999, Urban has served as the co-chair of the Electronic Bill Presentment & Payment (EBPP) Working Group where he has contributed to the IFX specification since its inception. Urban is also a longstanding contributor to the IFX Forum's Architecture Committee and its other Working Groups. At Group 1 Software, Urban leads the software development and quality assurance efforts for the electronic documents group and is a key player in setting the strategic direction for the company’s products in the electronic arena.

"It is an honor to serve as president of the IFX Forum, which is developing the most robust specifications for the exchange of financial data," said Urban. "The strength and commitment of our membership allows the IFX Forum to drive the future of e-business standardization across the worldwide financial services industry. In the past year, we have added significantly to the specification and we are well under way to furthering the reach of the standard in the financial services effort. The IFX Forum officers reelected for the current year include its Treasurer, Susan Colles, Vice President of Global Treasury Services for Bank of America, and Secretary, Leslie Mitchell, Director of BITS. Re-elected as director is Dan Schutzer, Vice President of Citigroup, N.A. New directors are:

- Frank Eaton, Market Segment Manager, Sun Microsystems

- Wim Geurden, Senior Technology Strategist - Banking, Microsoft

- Patrick Leathrum, Technical Consultant, MasterCard International

Continuing Board members include:

- William Bird, Senior Technical Consultant, eFunds Corporation

- Rick DuVall, Senior Product Manager, ACI Worldwide Inc.

- Tom Hetterscheidt, Vice President of Product Development, eBank

- Ken Hobday, Vice President of Corporate Development, Checkfree Corporation

- Michael O'Malley, Director of Customer Channels, Fidelity Information Services

- Mark Tiggas, Senior Vice President, Wells Fargo Services Company
