IFX SPECIFICATION DRAFT VERSION 1.7 POSTED FOR PUBLIC REVIEW

FALLS CHURCH, Va. – April 6, 2005 – The Interactive Financial eXchange (IFX) Forum has posted the final draft of Version 1.7 of the IFX Specification for public review and comment on its Web site, at www.IFXForum.org

Version 1.7 of the IFX specification incorporates the first deliverables from the Forum's Branch Banking Services Working Group; these modify existing IFX messages/message flows so as to support branch banking and call center transaction sets and functionality, and add new messages that enable new functionality.

Following consideration of any comments received from the public, the IFX Forum's Architecture Committee and Steering Committee will vote to approve Version 1.7 during the Forum's Annual Meeting in Toronto, April 25-29. The document will then be made available for download at no charge.

The Annual Meeting will take place at the Courtyard by Marriott at 475 Yonge Street in downtown Toronto. Prospective members are invited to attend the Annual Meeting at no charge, to become familiar with the group's activities before formally joining. Advance meeting registration is required, with a deadline of April 18; go to www.IFXForum.orgfor details, or write to info@ifxforum.org
