Forum Annual Meeting Open to All, April 9-11 in Orlando
WAKEFIELD, Mass., USA – Feb. 27, 2014 – The Interactive Financial eXchange (IFX; http://www.ifxforum.org) Forum will hold a public webinar, "The IFX Standard: A Service Oriented Framework for Businesses in the Financial Services Industry," at 10 a.m. EST on Thursday, March 6. There is no charge to attend, but advance registration is needed.
The IFX Forum is an international non-profit industry association whose mission is to develop and promote the adoption of its open, interoperable standard for financial data exchange, IFX, which is available at no charge at http://bms.ifxforum.org/.
This webinar will provide a high-level overview of the IFX Forum and how the IFX Standard can serve as a framework for designing SOA solutions to meet the business requirements for organizations in the financial services industry. Presenters include Richard Urban, President of the IFX Forum, and member company representatives. A question period will follow the presentation.
"We invite everyone involved with service-oriented architecture in the financial services industry to join us next Thursday, to hear how they can leverage IFX to add value to their SOA efforts," said Urban. The IFX Forum's 2014 Annual Meeting takes place April 9-11, immediately following the NACHA Payments conference, at the Orlando World Center Marriott. Non-member meeting fees are waived for this special event, where the discussion will focus on strategic plans for the future of IFX and for the Forum. Advance registration is required.

Founded in 1997, the Interactive Financial eXchange (IFX) Forum is an international not-for-profit industry association whose mission is to develop IFX and promote its adoption as an open, interoperable standard for financial data exchange, suitable for use by all sectors of the financial services industry.
