IFX FORUM NAMES WINCOR-NIXDORF TO BOARD, ELECTS OFFICERS AT ANNUAL MEETING IN MINNEAPOLIS

Web Services Working Group Deliverables Rolled Out to Members Only

WAKEFIELD, Mass. - June 14, 2006 - At its 2006 Annual Meeting held last month, the Interactive Financial eXchange (IFX) Forum members' representatives elected Rolf Scheer of Wincor-Nixdorf to its Board of Directors, and re-elected Susan Colles, Bank of America; Lee Hou, Fidelity; and Pieter Heyn, Sun Microsystems, all to Director terms expiring in 2009.

The new Board has elected incumbents President Richard P. Urban; Chairman Rick Duvall of ACI Worldwide, and Treasurer Anne Cant of NCR. Lee Hou of Fidelity has been elected Secretary.

IFX Forum is a not-for-profit standards-developing organization working to develop a robust framework for the electronic business-to-business exchange of data among financial service institutions around the world.

"I appreciate the confidence that the Forum has expressed in my tenure as President," said Urban, "and I am happy to continue to serve the group in this role. I look forward to a year of exciting growth and new initiatives for the Forum, plus global adoption of IFX, as we expand our outreach efforts and welcome new members from all over the world."

The Minneapolis meeting included intense hands-on collaborative sessions for the Forum's active Working Groups: ATM-POS, Branch Banking Services, Business Banking, and Web Services. The Forum's Steering and Architecture Committees also met, to advance the group's business and technological plans, respectively.

A highlight of the four-day gathering was the presentation of a set of deliverables from the Web Services Working Group: a modularized IFX Version 1.7 schema that allows developers to create their own custom elements, including a top-level IFX document with only those elements that they use, and a WSDL, which will both be publicly available following the members' review and comment period. A comprehensive Web Services Implementation Guide will be available for access by IFX Forum members only.

In other business, the Forum member representatives agreed on the schedule and locations for the group's next two face-to-face meetings: August 21-24 in Redmond, Washington, hosted by Microsoft Corporation, and the week of November 5. As usual, prospective members are invited to attend for a fee of $695 per person (which will be credited toward membership dues, if application is made within 60 days after the meeting), to become familiar with the group's activities before formally joining. Meeting details will be posted at www.ifxforum.org.
