IFX FORUM RE-ELECTS DIRECTOR FROM MICROSOFT; ADDS NEW DIRECTORS FROM NCR AND U.S. BANK
WAKEFIELD, Mass. – June 3, 2013 – At its recent 2013 Annual Meeting, the Interactive Financial eXchange (IFX) Forum member companies' representatives re-elected Victor Dossey of Microsoft, and elected Kate Fewell of NCR and David Moss of U.S. Bank to the Forum's Board of Directors, for terms expiring in 2016.
The new Board then re-appointed President Richard P. Urban, re-elected Chairman Richard DuVall of ACI Worldwide and Secretary Mark Tiggas of Wells Fargo, and elected Mr. Dossey Treasurer.
The IFX Forum is an international not-for-profit industry association whose mission is to develop IFX and promote its adoption as an open, interoperable standard for financial data exchange. The group's 2013 Annual Meeting took place April 29-May 1 in Edison, N.J., USA, hosted by Tata Consultancy Services.
The event included an "Introduction to IFX" tutorial presented by Mr. Urban, which focused on IFX Version 2. A version of the presentation, with audio, may be downloaded from www.ifxforum.org.
The gathering also featured hands-on collaborative sessions for the Forum's active Working Groups and Architecture Committee. One highlight was the first in-person meeting for the recently launched SOA Working Group, which is developing a Web Services Implementation Guide for IFX Version 2. The Forum's Steering Committee also met to discuss and advance the group's business plans.

Founded in 1997, the Interactive Financial eXchange (IFX) Forum is an international not-for-profit industry association whose mission is to develop IFX and promote its adoption as an open, interoperable standard for financial data exchange, suitable for use by all sectors of the financial services industry.
