WAKEFIELD, Mass. – April 14, 2009 – At its 2009 Annual Meeting, held March 24, 2009, the Interactive Financial eXchange (IFX; http://www.ifxforum.org) Forum member companies' representatives re-elected Susan Colles, Bank of America; Lee Hou, Fidelity National Information Services; Pieter Heyn, Sun Microsystems; and Joachim Seibert, Wincor Nixdorf; to the Forum's Board of Directors, all to terms expiring in 2012.

The Board then re-appointed President Richard P. Urban and re-elected Chairman Richard DuVall of ACI Worldwide, Treasurer Lee Hou, and Secretary Mark Tiggas of Wells Fargo.

The IFX Forum is an international not-for-profit industry association whose mission is to develop IFX and promote its adoption as an open, interoperable standard for financial data exchange.  The group's 2009 Annual Meeting took place in Redmond, Washington, hosted by Microsoft Corporation.

"I appreciate the vote of confidence from the IFX Forum Board," said Urban.  "As we address the challenges faced by the financial services industry in the upcoming year, the Forum is fortunate to enjoy strong commitment from its members who have been working so diligently to further the reach of the standard.  I look forward to continuing to work with these dedicated individuals, and I thank their companies for their support."

As is customary for an IFX Forum face-to-face meeting, the Redmond gathering featured intense hands-on collaborative sessions for the Forum's active Working Groups: ATM-POS, Branch Banking Services, Business Banking and Card Management & Servicing.  Additional days were devoted to architectural considerations for IFX 2.0, and the Forum's Steering Committee met to discuss and advance the group's business plans.

An additional feature of the four-day event was an "Introduction to IFX" session, which was attended by representatives of new and prospective Forum members.
