The IFX Forum holds quarterly face-to-face meetings in various locations, in addition to the weekly teleconferences of its working groups and committees. Interested companies are welcome to send representatives to face-to-face meetings prior to committing to IFX Forum membership, for a meeting fee of $695 per person. This fee will be credited to the first year's membership dues, if the company joins the Forum within the next 60 days.
Additionally, at most face-to-face meetings, an "Introduction to IFX" session is held on the first day. This presentation provides an overview of the Forum, the business focus of the IFX specification, the architecture of the specification, and a summary of upcoming enhancements/new versions. It's recommended for those considering Forum membership as well as new member representatives.
There is no charge for interested parties to attend only the "Intro" session, but advance registration is required.
